I grow my own vegetable garden, and each season I start a 2-16 gallon batch of tomato wine, depending on my tomato output for the year, and it is a very unique and potent (potentially at least) wine. Most people who have sampled it have been very impressed.

Shoulda tasted ’08’s……16 gal…..4 dry @ 21.7%; 4 sweetened @ 20.32%; and Tod’s Special Reserve: 8 gal that went 9 mos. in the carboy and hit 22.8%, but was considerably smoother and tastier than the other 2. I gave away about 1 gal (4 bottles) and am cherishing the rest myself. As I sit here as a matter of fact:):)
