Tomato Mishap: Juice Shorts Airport X-Ray

Can tomatoes be dangerous?
They can if you are in danger of missing your flight!
One weekend. this year at La Guardia airport, tomato juice was accidentally spilled onto an X-ray machine, causing an electrical short that held up hundreds of passengers waiting to get through the ever-lengthening lines.
It is hard to believe that something so simple could foul up such a finely tuned machine as airports are nowadays (please note sarcasm).
For future travelers, be sure to leave all sharp implements home and drink your V-8 juice before you check your bags.
