Pelt the PunditsBy Michelle Fabio

We recently talked about the history of throwing tomatoes, and now here’s your chance to get into the game.

The virtual game, that is.

Pelt the Pundits” is a website that lets you get out your electoral frustrations by throwing tomatoes at various American political figures on both sides of the aisle from Hillary Clinton and Alan Colmes on the left to Mitt Romney and Bill O’Reilly on the right.

At the beginning of the game, you’re asked to identify yourself as Republican or Democrat in order to keep score of your direct hits; at the end you can add your tomato totals to the nationwide results—in 2004, Pelt the Pundits correctly predicted the winner of the Presidential race.

During the game, political figures pop up from behind buses and the White House as well as ride by on bicycles; some catchy phrases said by the animated pols include President Bill Clinton’s “I did not inhale that tomato” and former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld’s “Now it’s a known known that we’ll hold somebody responsible for these tomatoes.”

What’s your highest score?
