Sharing the Tomato Love: Website of the California Tomato Growers Association
By Michelle Fabio
Here at Tomato Casual we love sharing information on tomatoes, and this includes pointing you to other websites that you might enjoy.
If you haven’t scrolled down the home page in a while, do check out our featured “Links” to some wonderful tomatoey sites from Dad’s Tomato Garden Journal to The Garden Granny to the Tomato Problem Solver.
And while you’re at it, why not check out the website of the California Tomato Growers Association?
Even if you’re not in California, this website offers lots of great nutritional and factual tomato information as well as recipes, including a whole section dedicated to “Family & School Recipes” that feature tomatoes.
Another great resource is a conversion chart, which tells you how to substitute one kind of tomato for another if you don’t have what a particular recipe calls for on hand; this handy dandy chart “will help you incorporate Lycopene-rich California processed tomatoes into just about any recipe.” Sounds good to me!
Do you frequent other tomato-related websites that you think other tomato lovers would enjoy too?
Please send them in so we can share them with other Tomato Casual readers!
