Tomatomania Is Back!

tomatomaniaBy Michelle Fabio.

It’s that time of year again — time for Tomatomania, the world’s largest tomato seedling sale, which began in Encinitas, California, on March 21-22.

Tomatomania is the brainchild of Scott Daigre, who continually aims to have new and exciting tomato seed varieties available every year. Stops on the Tomatomania tour include Encino, Fillmore, Sonoma, Beverly Hills, and Arcadia in California as well as East Coast stops in Litchfield, Connecticut and Lothian, Maryland in mid-May.

If you can’t make it to any of the Tomatomania sites, though, we have great news: Tomatomania delivers!

Together with White Flower Farm, Tomatmania offers the chance to buy 145 different plants from “hybrid beefsteaks to the rarest heirlooms” that were grown from seed at the nursery. They promise to deliver high-quality plants to your door just in time for planting in your area.

So, do you have Tomatomania yet?
